Committed Fitness will provide the most cutting
edge, state of the art training and nutritional strategies available.
Committed Fitness's staff is highly educated and passionate about
the science of exercise and nutrition. Helping each client enjoy
an individualized, challenging, results-oriented workout is our
goal. Each session will offer fun, progressively more challenging
routines so that the client achieves his or her desired fitness

Weight Training:
General
personal training sessions last one hour and consist
of warm up, weight lifting, stretching and cool down.
Each client will be instructed by a certified personal
trainer who is passionate about his or her client's
success.
Box-fit:
Box-fit incorporates Olympic-style
weight lifting and plyometrics with
boxing drills. The workout lasts one
hour and is split into two parts: 30 minutes
of weight lifting and 30 of minutes boxing
drills and plyometrics. The workout produces dramatic
results in a short period of time and is a fantastic
way to learn self defense. This workout is not for
the faint of heart.
Stretching
Class:
This class is made up
of 30 minutes of full body stretching
and deep breathing exercises. It
is designed to help individuals become familiar
with proper stretching techniques and appropriate
breathing. The class is good for beginner and advanced
athletes. Class begins after a light five minute callisthenic
warm up.
Stadium Runs:
Class is held on weekends at a local
high school stadium or occasionally
at Rice University Stadium. Each
group session consists of organized stadium runs,
interval training on a track. Plyometric training with a
medicine ball and strength-shoes. This workout is
an outstanding way to cross train as well as drastically
improve your cardiovascular conditioning.
Health Food Shopping Classes:
Classes are
held on weekends and are lead by
Garth Wotkyns who instructs clients on how to effectively
shop for heathy food. Each client is shown the best
ways to pick out fresh produce, meats, design healthy
shopping lists, prepare foods in advance and the dos
and don'ts of dieting. This class is a great way to
become familiar with your local farmer's market.
